We offer completely free consultations with our highly trained Stylists. This allows us to spend time with you chatting through your ideas, planning how best to achieve your hair goals! We can check the colour history of your hair, test the condition and answer any questions at all you may have during this time.
Colour prices do not include cutting and blow drying, so will need to be booked alongside colour with your stylist.
If you are entitled to any discounts (students etc.) this will be applied in salon when you visit, so don’t worry that this doesn’t show when booking.

U Concept hairdressing was founded in 2001, the first salon opening in February in the Southside of Glasgow.
Six months was spent on the planning stages to ensure that our concept would be taken to the degree of precision that we wanted. 21st century living is physically and emotionally demanding. People today are looking for time to relax, experience luxury, beauty and a sense of well being, this is our goal. We identified in today’s hectic lifestyle that people found it difficult to get away from their work or other commitments. This is the reason that we have extended opening hours.
Our team have traveled all over the UK and Ireland over many years doing shows and educating hairdressers from all over the world at the major hairdressing industry events, all the work carried out at these prestigious events is by an incredibly creative and visionary team. Our team look after their guests in the salon with the knowledge that our guests are the most important part of our business and everything we do.
U Concept founded Hairstylists Against Hunger with the aim to replenish stock in local food banks, as well as raising awareness of the amount of people now becoming dependent on them.
For any Colour Changes we strongly advise an in depth consultation with one of our Senior Stylists to ensure the best possible results for your hair. During this we will test the colour history and condition of your hair, take in to account your personal style, skin tone and hair type to work out the best way to achieve your Dream Hair, whilst maintaining optimum condition.
Bridal
A complete in salon or at home/on location service, custom built to suit. A trial is advised before the big day!
Wedding day out of salon service : approx £50 per hour / £250 minimum
Accurate quote provided after consultation and/or trial!

Graduate Stylists
Have your hair cut, coloured and styled by some of the most talented up and coming young hairdressers on the Scottish Scene. All of our Graduate Stylists have been through a rigorous training programme at the U Concept Academy.
We offer a complete in salon or at home/location service, custom built to suit your special day.
A trial is advised before the wedding day.
We understand that each bride is unique, and have an experienced bridal team ready to work with you to design and create your dream wedding hair style. A consultation and trial with one of our team members is recommended, this helps our team to advise on the best styles for your hair taking into account your own personal style, hair type, your dress, accessories etc.
Out of salon service is priced at £50 per hour including travel time, minimum charge £200.00
